God Milk?
Ok- so I've been inspiring everyone with my menus, right? My last 2-week menu disappeared from Blogger again- I really don't know what's up with disappearing Blogger posts. Anyway.) I have inspired (one) friend to try this so that they don't ever have to frantically run to the Super at 5:30pm trying to figure out if they're going to have hot-dogs or PBJ or whatever. Well-- I was soooo tired this past Tuesday night. Remember, my husband was off on a beach somewhere having a good time with all of his pastor buddies while I was here holding down the fort by myself?? Tuesdays are known around the Rightnighttyperhood household as "Piano Night Shuffle." Four of the kids (Everyone except the baby, I knew you were wondering if we've started Julianna on the piano yet. No.) take piano on Tuesdays from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. That means I drop Ava off at 5, pick Ava up at 5:30, drop Ty off at 5:30, etc. until all kids have been schooled for yet another week in the wonderful world of keyboarding. At 7:00, we usually eat. Well, I was so tired, I decided to scrap the menu and go with good ole' Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, left over biscuits and a veggie tray. At 7:15, I discover that I'm completely out of milk. I thought I had an extra gallon in the 2nd refrigerator, but alas, there's none to be found. Sigh. Well, I grabbed my keys and was going to head down to the Super to grab a gallon and I'm thinking, "Good grief, it's going to be 8:00 before we eat supper." The door-bell rings. It's my good friend, Sheila Bridgman. She doesn't usually drink 2% milk but had bought half a gallon to make a dessert for a friend. She wondered if I could use the 1/4 gallon that was left-over????? I nearly cried at the good Providence in the smallest little detail of my life. It was definetely God milk.
