The Knifty Knitter
If you know me very well, you know that I am arts & crafts challenged. However the genes are obviously flowing through our family because Megan can sew anything and my little Anna is all about crafts. Currently she is working on a weaving project and a knitting project through her homeschool enrichment classes. She made the hat pictured above using a Knifty Knitter. I have been sitting in the classes with her and working on a hat too. (Her knitting teacher encouraged shamed me into doing it.) Anna did so well with the Knifty Knitter that the instructor has moved her on to real knitting needles to make a matching scarf. I'm still using the Knifty Knitter.

Okay, *that* is super cute. Tell Anna she did a great job! We can't wait to visit and check out the Nifty Knitter for ourselves!

LOVE IT! There is a lady at Jamesport who teaches knitting/weaving/spinning etc. and she told me she loves to teach mother/daughter classes after the child is 5 or 6. I would love to do that with Zoe now that she is getting old enough to start. I love that kind of stuff and have not kept up with learning anything new since I had kids. Not sure if Zoe would be interested or not - might have to run that by her one of these days!

Way to go Anna! I also have a crafty genius in my family and it isn't me. :)

Awesome job, Anna! Had never heard of a Knifty Knitter before, but I'm ordering one for my 6-year-old ... when she complains about being "bored" this summer (one of the worst dirty words in the world as far as I'm concerned), I'll have just the solution!
