The Word of God for All Ages
Yes, the Word of God has stood through all of the ages--but I meant for all age groups. :) I get questions about Bible resources all of the time, so here is a list of some of the things we have used over the years for our children. You can click on any of the titles for author/ordering information. Prechool-Read Aloud The Big Picture Story Bible The New Bible in Pictures for Little Eyes The Child's Story Bible Our 24 Family Ways Leading Little Ones to God Young Elementary Rod and Staff Bible Nurture Series Desiring God Coloring Book (Anna [1st grade] is currently reading the Rod and Staff 2nd grader Bible reader and using this coloring book as a supplement for her Bible devotions.) The Child's Story Bible (Yes, this is the same book that I mentioned in the first list. We read it aloud when they are smaller and let them read it by themselves later on. Titus [3rd grade] read this for his devotions last year.) The One Year Bible for Kids (This is what Titus is reading every morning this year.) Older Elementary through Adulthood The John MacArthur Study Bible Study Helps for Your Older Students MacArthur Topical Bible Strong's Concordance Vine's Bible Dictionary

Hey Michelle,
I was just going to ask you about what Bible you would recommend for Jacob. His birthday is coming up and we were going to get him his own Bible. This will give me some things to look at. Thanks!

Abbey-

When you mentioned Jacob it made me remember my favorite resource for his age group, and that's Leading Little Ones to God. It's not the kind of Bible you would probably have him carry to church though.
