Operation Clean Sweep
Generally, I'm a fairly good housekeeper. Really I am. In every area that is, except...my garage. I don't know--the inside of the house I sort of consider "my domain." The yard and the garage--hubby's domain. That's fine with him except for the fact that I keep cleaning out closets and such and stuffing all of the "throw aways," "give aways" into the garage. I was going to have a garage sale last October-- even had it all set up on tables and everything. That was the weekend that my husband announced that he thought he should take me on my first camping trip ever. We'd been promising the kids forever that we were going to take them camping and Spencer felt like it would be our last weekend of sunshine. So--with reckless abandon I boxed up all of the garage merchandise and headed off to prove that I was the coolest-wife-in-the-world. SIX MONTHS LATER my garage has evolved into something akin to the city dump. You'll notice in the photographs that there is still a rack of hanging garage merchandise. Well, no more ladies and gentlemen. The public schools may not feel like taking a Spring Break, but Anna and I are packing up the books this week and hitting this garage like wild banche indians. My goal is that by next week, I will be able to post photographs that Mr. Clean would like to use in his commericals. (Remember those commericals-- the baby would always be eating off of the floor because it was so clean. Or maybe it was the Spic-n-Span commercials, I don't know.) Maybe I'll even post a picture of Jane eating her Captain Crunch off of the garage floor. Stay tuned. Ready...Set...GO!

It's a brave soul that posts pics of the inside of the garage. You may even inspire me! We have a baseball bat that is AWOL -- I feel certain it's under garage clutter.

Good luck! You're inspiring me to attack my dungeon ... now if I could just find the proper motivation for the troops :-)

LOL!! I am just so excited to see you have a place like that! To me you are Major cleanie and I am glad to know even you have those times! I'm also equally impressed that you are going to attack in a week! You are a superhero! :) I'll stay tuned!

Love the pics. Your motivating me to get to work on some of my worst spots too! I look forward to seeing your progress. :)
