Band Trip Follies
I had such a nice time with our high-school band on their trip to Branson. This band is just a dandy group of kids and no one caused a bit of trouble. I think all of the adults would agree that chaperoning this trip was an easy assignment.
Friday started off with a day of go-carts and bumper boats. . .
Here's our awesome band director . . .
The entire band posing for me before we enter Silver Dollar City. (It rained all day, but we made the most of it. Wah!)
Me-- posing with one of Truett's 6th grade teachers, otherwise known as T.G. (That's "Tour Guide" in case you didn't know. Denise has been to Branson at least 50 times and can tell you about every hotel, restaurant and music show that the city has to offer. She just LOVES Shoji Tibuchi!!!!!) It has been *such* a blessing to have some solid, Christian teachers. Denise is one of those kind.
Here is a picture of Jonathan because I told him I would put a picture of him on my blog SO HE COULD BECOME FAMOUS.
And here is a picture of my own precious Abbey, warming up on her flute.
My good friend, Lana, passing out T-shirts at the end of the trip. . .
A good time was had by all!

Yay for the band! I was in my high school band, and those were some very special times in my life. Our colors were red, white and black, too! :) And, I also played the flute! It's nice that you are getting to spend time like that with your daughter.
DOUBLE YAY for the band! My boys say it was the best school trip ever! I am SOOOO glad our kids share not only our church life, but a very important part of our school life (MUSIC!) with your kids. We ARE blessed!
And thanks for Jonathan's five minutes of fame ;>)
Jonathan's mom....
