A Little Tied Up
Between ironing out all of the details for my parent's anniversary party, being band booster president during the concert/dessert bar week, getting ready to launch out tomorrow morning to be a chaperone for the band trip to Branson and trying to make sure that Anna and I cover all of the school basics today . . . I'm a little "tied up." But in the midst of it all, I try to remember that this is the good life: Serving my children and hopefully being the ballast in the midst of all of the chaos. And most of all, knowing that the Lord is sovereign and in the middle of every single detail.
O LORD, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. Psalm 139:1

You have to be pretty organized to keep up with all that! Great Scripture.

AMEN! What a great scripture! I know exactly how you feel - most weeks are like that for me - and I love what you said about serving your children and being a ballast. This is such an important time in our children's lives and they are learning so many great things right now. I'm so glad you're going on the trip since I'm not (I signed up as a substitute), and I know my boys have several Christian moms they can go to if need be.

This IS the good life - and the great thing is, the NEXT life is even BETTER!!!

See ya tonight!

You are busy! I did my parent's 50th anniversary party (a surprise) last September. What are you planning? Need help?
