Where It's Always Winter and Never Christmas
That movie line has been coming to mind over the past 24 hours. I know that line because not only did we see the movie back in December, but we've been listening to the Chronicles of Narnia on CD everytime we go anywhere in my car (really--nonstop for the past three months)and I think I have the entire 7 book set memorized. Anyway, yesterday was the offical Vernal Equinox and yet we got 2 inches of snow--not enough to cancel school, but just enough to really give me Spring Fever. Down South right now, the Crocusses are blooming everywhere and everyone's gearing up for the annual Daffodil Festival. Come to think of it, the Daffodil Festival was TWO WEEKS AGO!!! Come on Spring weather, come up north!!!

This is your good friend and choir director speaking. I finally checked out this spot and I love it!
Regarding Chronicles of Narnia, which we saw in December also - opening night! - the boys have also inundated us with Narnian trivia and music. They have the movie music CD and play it lots in the car, which is fine with me.

And it DOES seem like spring ought to be here - maybe we've had a bunch of it already these past few months? But I'm with you, snow go away and let's break out the capris!

Blessings to ya, Michelle!

Hey Linda! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Doesn't surprise me that your boys are totally into Narnia...

If it makes you feel better, us southerners are experiencing 40 degrees and below with a chance of snow for Thursday :-)

Well Supermom, I never really did consider my self a bonafide Southerner until I lived in Southern Arkansas. However, I grew up where you currently live and the kids at SBU made fun of my accent during my freshman year, so maybe you DO live in the South. :)

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

I agree, bring on the spring time!! I love reading your blog, it always brings a smile to my face! maybe I will get to read it more often now, we have moved up in the world to high speed internet. Take care down there where it is nice and warm!! don't get a sunburn!!
