That's how many dollars ($5,213.00) the RAY FAMILYpayed in taxes this year. Since we're considered self-employed, that comes straight out of our pocket. That doesn't include the state taxes that will also come straight out of our pocket. (At least we pay quarterly all year long so we're not hit with it all at once!) So, no, I have to admit that I don't really feel guilty about the tax refund that I'm getting because I'm married with children. :) Taxes filed and in the mail! Done for another year and it's not even 11:59pm on April 14th. Woo hoo! What a feeling!

I'd like to add that if I hear the word "taxes" a few more times, I may SCREAM!

OK I'm better now....

Michelle, I asked Jonathan if he read the post about your top 10 and Spencer and he said not all of it, because it got too sentimental. I told him he better get used to it cause that's what women like. He just shook his head in disbelief....;>) Guess I should be glad since he's only 17!

Jonathan-

Bless your dear, sweet unsentimental heart. When the time comes to find your woman, just come to me dahhhling and I'll give you the 411. *big cheesy grin*

And yes, enjoy your tax-free days for as long as you can. Your Caesar-rending days will be here soon enough.

CORRECTION:
Jonathan, I did not mean to say "Caesar-rending" but "Caesar-rendering." Please do not think that we are violently tearing Caesar to pieces (rending). We are submitting to Caesar (rendering). :)
Et tu Brute?
