Get Your Ice Cold Drinks Here
I have some bad news and then some good news. Which do you want first?
OK- I'll give you the bad news first. (People always want the bad news first.)
The bad news is: I can't take my refrigerator everywhere I go, and neither can you.
The good news is: they now make insulated sippy cups.
I cannot believe that I am just now discovering the insulated sippy cup. I don't know if they didn't make these 7 years ago (the age of our next to the youngest child) or WHAT! But I love them! I can pack two or three of these little babies on a day trip and have something cool for Jane to drink all day long. The milk or juice may not be super cold by the end of the day, but it's NOT SPOILED! I got mine at our local five and dime store (I don't know why I call it that--it's the most expensive store EVER) but I'm sure they're at Wal-Mart stores everywhere.
Highly recommend 'em!

Insulated sippy cups are the best!
I still have some sippie cups that are 13 YEARS OLD - no valve, no nothing. I do have a couple of insulated ones but they are the small ones - don't hold enough for a big 2yo's tummy, so I don't use them much. I definitely need to replace those old puppies. I'm just cheap.
Hey, come on over for dinner. By noon today (just for you!) I'll decide what we're having. It's Kid-Friendly Night (and I have everything), so it shouldn't be too much trouble!
Just kiddin' - if you only knew how much I admired your disciplined, planning ways...=) Have a great day!
Insulated sippy cups sound great. Although there's nothing quite like opening that sippy of apple juice at the end of the day and wondering if someone snuck alcohol into it....yuck!
I'll have to remember those for my little one on the way!
I think it is Nuby that has the funky new ones that you can stick in the freezer for an hour or so and it has these crystals on the outside of the glass. Very cool, especially here in FL heat. Nasty rotten soy milk is SO disgusting!!
Why didn't they have those things when my first child was young enough for them? Little Brother has only ever drunk water in his sippies...
I love Insulated sippy cups!
I've just posted my first WFMW. Stop by and take a peek. :)
Everything is different than it was just a few years ago in the world of kid products--disposable bibs, insulated sippys, those cheap and cute "disposable" plastic feeding spoons, baby food in plastic. My kids are 5 1/2 years apart.
I wonder if they'll last for weeks under the minivan seat....it seems I always find a stray cup there.
:)
YES! I love those too. When baby four came along, I finally threw out all the disgusting old sippy cups I'd had forever and started with new ones. INSULATED ones. Livin' high on the hog!
Need to look into getting some of these. I'm trying to teach my guys to put their cups in the fridge when they're done but it is such a hard thing to stay on top of! The idea of packing them to go out for the day would be nice. Thanks!
Well, drat! I thought this was going to be about a sippy cup I could use to keep drinks cool all day for ME!! Well, maybe it is?
