39 and Holding...
Everyone knows how much I love you dear. But today, I'm laying it out there for the whole world to see. I want everyone to know that I think you are...

Unforgettable

Unforgettable, that's what you are Unforgettable though near or far Like a song of love that clings to me How the thought of you does things to me Never before has someone been more Unforgettable in every way And forever more, that's how you'll stay That's why, darling, its INCREDIBLE That someone so unforgettable Thinks that I am unforgettable too

PERFORMED BY NAT KING COLE, 1951

LYRICS AND WORDS BY IRVING GORDON

Happy Birthday, Babe. I love you.

Happy Birthday, Spencer!!! Man, I always imagined you MUCH, MUCH older than me but now I see we're really not that far apart. Laughing. That's all I'll say about that! ;)

You are such a wonderful friend. The words of your wife and children speak well of the kind of person you continue to be. I loved having you as an "older" brother. You were always fun to be with and you also challenged my thinking. Thanks for all the years of friendship! Have a wonderful birthday!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday to one of the top favorite men in my life....words can't describe how precious you are to me, big brother. You carried the cross high for all of your younger siblings when you were in high school/college. I cannot imagine what I would have turned out like if you had not set the bar so high! ;) I remember when cont. christian music was just beginning to become popular, and you were bringing as much into our home as you could get your hands on...Petra, Carmen, Andre Crouch, etc. ;) You embodied God's grace upon my life when my soul was lost. Your influence upon my life during those formidable times is unmeasureable. Thank you for being a torch bearer....I'll be forever grateful. Wish I could be there to hug you and share your cake! ;)
Love,
Ruth
