Passover Thursday
Forever etched in history as the turncoat treasurer with a bankrupt soul, Judas Iscariot was the apostolic chameleon who kissed the Savior one moment and backstabbed Him the next. His graphic collapse taught loudly that money and materialism are no antidotes for guilt. That greed mingled with grace is a spiritually lethal mix. Source

heartsjoy...I just had a thought that you would remember something I told my hubby the other day about Judas. I was telling him that years ago JLN (sister) was in an Easter program at FBCS and there was a guy who played Judas who sang a catchy song..."Silver and gold...I gave in exchange for my soul..." Then the choir would back him up..."silver and gold I gave in exchange for my soul" anyway it would go in a round and at the end he sang a line very dramatically "Judas....is....myyyy name!" and ran off the stage. Now..I always think of that performance when I hear about Judas. Do you possibly remember that? I think you and Literaturelover were both in that performance!!! Oh well...the days gone by. :)
