Yes....silence. That makes me uncomfortable. Always has...especially when people are sitting around a room. But, it also unnerves me in this scenario. Do you think Jesus is trying to say something here? I would've been inclined to say(as I always do when He is making me wait on His plan) is He irritated with me? ..Or, have I done something wrong?..Maybe by his silence He's reminding us that it isn't about us...but about Him. Thanks, Michelle...I needed this reminder...he led in a long moment of uncomfortable silence before acting out the greatest act of power, glory, and mercy in all the history of our world. Silence is okay. He works in the midst of it. Most imortantly, His silences are pregnant with His sovereignty and thank goodness...He isn't uncomfortable in it. :)
