Standing in the Need of Prayer
Vocational ministry can be hard. I should know this--my husband has been my best friend and my pastor for over fifteen years now. There are times when you just want to shake your head at certain people and ask "What????" Truly, the sweetest as well as the most cruel people I have ever met were both found behind the doors of the churches in which we've served.
I have some dear friends who found themselves in a church situation that involved a lot of dishonesty and division. After much prayer and mental wrestling, they have resigned from their church and have moved back to their home state. I am asking for all of my friends in the blogosphere to go over to her blog and leave a prayer/comment in her comment box. She hasn't posted since May 18 as they're life has been turned a little upside down, but just leave your comment/prayer on that last post of hers. Her husband NEEDS A JOB at present and most importantly, they need encouragement and leading from the Lord about what the next move for their family should be.
Thank you for lifting these precious friends up!!!

I'm on my way! How sad your friends were forced to make that decision. A church should be like a loving family!
I can so identify. I was a pastor's wife in a recent former life and reading your post took me back to a little bit of (unwanted) deja vu! I will go and encourage your friends.
This is so sweet that you did this. I know she will appreciate the encouragement!
