"Hello, I'm Johnny Cash"
Don't laugh, but ever since Spencer and I rented Walk the Line, I've been all about Johnny Cash's music. Everyone knows that I have a very eclectic taste in music, but I have to say that even I never imagined that I would be downloading "Long Legged, Guitar Pickin' Man" onto my iPod. "Oh, you big mouthed woman..." "You long legged, guitar pickin' man." "Well, we can work this out, uh-huh, yes ma'am, I think we can..."

Personally, I'm partial to "A Boy Named Sue" and "Ring of Fire" but that's just me...

My in-laws have that movie...I've been meaning to borrow it. Now you've got me really wanting to see it! ;)

Johnny Cash is one of my husband's most favorite country singers of all time. We saw the movie, but he didn't care for it much. I'd have to agree with megan - Boy Named Sue and Ring of Fire are my favorites.

You ARE pretty eclectic in your musical tastes, girl! :-)

I just finished reading the first page of your blog and I'm impressed. It's not everyday you find a blog interesting enough to read all the posts on the first page.
I, being from the south and all, absolutely LOVE Johnny Cash. In Texas, it's a sin not to. he he

You are one super cool mom to have your own iPod. You should create your own "Celebrity Playlist" so we can all see what you're listening to.

I liked the movie OK, But Ring of Fire is my fav. of his, just becauseI have heard it more. I would download it to my iPod if it were FREE! Ha. Not something that I am going to spend my money on. My husband is a diferent story though. He likes that kind of Poe Dunky country music. Ha! My iPod is for mainly working out, so Johnny Cash doesn't seem like "working out" kind of music, ya know?

I did the same thing! I saw the movie (ah, Joaquin!) and went out and bought a JC CD. Wild Thing can sing "Jackson" like no tomorrow.

Which reminds me of a post I meant to write about Wild Thing and JC this week...

How's the WW going? Shannon and I have both had our bouts with it and I try to stay on it as much as possible. The biggest thing I learned from WW is to stop eating when I'm full regardless of how much I just like the taste. MUCH easier said than done!
