6 Random Things Meme
I was tagged by Heartsjoy to do the 6 Random Things Meme. Ever since I was in gym class as a little girl, WAITING AND WAITING (Whyyyyy didn't they ever want me on their team? Weren't they AWARE of my outstanding athletic prowess???) I've always loved being picked for something, so of course I'm playing along. Here it is folks, 6 (not 5 and certainly not 7) random things: 1. I love to crunch ice. My former youth pastor and his family still cringe when they know I’m coming to their house because of this annoying little habit! :) 2. I’m not a very good driver. 3. I always wanted to play the piano or some musical instrument as a child but my parents never would let me. (Well, they finally bought a piano when I was 14, but by then it was too late to late and I wasn’t disciplined enough to learn much...) So, now I’m determined to send all five of my children into adulthood with a working knowledge of the piano and at least one other instrument. (How’s that for living vicariously through your children???) 4. I was an Oklahoma All-State singer as a 10th, 11th, and 12th grader and went to SBU on a partial voice scholarship. 5. I have 90 undergraduate hours toward a degree in elementary education. Abigail arrived 9 months and 15 minutes after our honeymoon and the degree has been on the backburner ever since. (Well–I did take one class [Children’s Lit] a couple of years ago, but I but my whole familiy decided it was the wrong season of life for me to pursue it. Maybe one day... My husband says that he is determined that I finish the thing and I always thought I would until we found out about Jane’s impending arrival. Now I don’t know, and to be honest, I really don’t care.) 6. I can’t stand staying in hotels because I'm a little obsessive I KNOW they’re not really clean. I wear socks or flipflops the entire time I’m at a hotel and I usually bring spray lysol to sanitize my room beforehand. (You said random, right??) That concludes your personal tour of my randomness. More than you ever wanted to know, I’m sure... Not wanting the fun to stop, I tag Sheryl, Megan, and Ruth. (Randomly picked of course. :) )

hee hee - don't you mean you had a baby 9 monthes and 15 minutes after your honeymoon? Because the best that I recall, you were pregnant a LOT faster than 9 monthes later...

Um, evidentially I can't spell this morning. Someone - get to my children before I teach them how to spell "months"

(sheepish grin)

See, Megan, all of these kids have resulted in a total loss of brain cells...

Correction made. :)
