Saturday
Saturday is the forgotten day between Good Friday and Easter. It is the day we shop for bonnets, polish our shoes and mow our lawns; usually all without a single consideration of what Jesus did on the day prior to His resurrection.
This is the day Jesus descended into hell to proclaim the victory of the Cross over the forces of darkness (Acts 2:27).
With all authority and dominion now His from the Father (Matthew 28:18), Sunday couldn’t come soon enough for Jesus. (Source)

Michelle, thank you so much for putting the source link in for the Seven Days that Changed the World! It was fantastic and I have shared it with my prayer partner already.
This year like no other (with the exception of 2 years ago when the Passion movie came out), God has led me to consider all the events of the week leading up to Easter. My prayer partner said she has never meditated on these passion scriptures before like this year. God is doing something here! We are praying it affects those around us, especially in our households and family, and that our witness is strengthened from it.
Can't wait for tomorrow - Sunday's comin'!
I'm glad you've enjoyed these. I have too. All of them have been from that same source except Good Friday which I just wrote.
I'm so glad for Saturday and the proclamation of Christ's victory at the Cross! The resurrection was like a double-whammy!
